METAL-CUTTING FLUIDS - (The Test)

New Rapid Tap is the best non-1,1,1 cutting fluid available! How can we make this claim?

We checked the leading brands of cutting fluid in our laboratory test, measuring torque required to tap 1/4x20 holes in both Mild & Stainless steels. New Rapid Tap required less average torque than any other brand.

The Test:

 We tested 10 of the leading brand cutting fluids, tapping 10 holes in Mild Steel & 10 holes in Stainless Steel, with new 1/4x20 taps for each process.

Results:

In Mild Steel, New Rapid Tap required 37.2% less torque than the average required by the 9 other competitive brands.

In Stainless Steel, New Rapid Tap required 18.2% less torque than the average required by the 9 other competitive brands.
